Description
Duraproof 12 is a ‘12oz’, Polyester/Cotton, waterproof canvas, made in Australia from locally woven canvas. The yarn is 50% Cotton and 50% Polyester, for optimum breathability and two-fold in warp, maximising the strength. (12oz base cloth, 15oz finished weight)
Duraproof 12 is proofed with locally made proofing compound which, in turn, is formulated from local acrylic binders and waxes. The application method retains much of the original flexibility of the base fabric. This suppleness offers benefit in stretching to fit various applications and easy folding in stow-away situations.
Duraproof 12 finds use in markets such as supported covers, loose covers, awnings, annex roofing, hats stall covers, trailer covers, swags, bags, tenting etc.
